Karnataka police have arrested three more people in connection with the death of BJP leader Yuva Morcha Praveen Nettaru.

Three more people were arrested on Thursday in connection with the death of a BJP worker Yuva Morcha, Praveen Nettaru. So far, a total of ten people have arrested in connection with the case.
“Today, around 8 am, the Dakshina Kannada Police arrested three people in connection with the murder. Before that, we arrested 7 people as part of the plot. So a total of 10 people were arrested,” ADGP Mangaluru said on Thursday.
Police said the suspect was hiding in Talapady. Those charged have been identified as Shiabuddin, Basheer and Riyaz.
“Now, we will ask the police to detain them and after obtaining custody of all three, we will interrogate them thoroughly. All these factors will be recorded and we will then hand the case over to the NIA. This order has been issued in that regard,” said ADGP Mangaluru.

The arrested defendants are suspected of having ties to the Popular Front of India (PFI). Further investigation into the case is underway.
WHAT IS THE CASE?
Praveen Nettaru, a BJP leader Yuva Morcha, was stabbed to death with lethal weapons by unidentified people in front of his broiler shop as he was returning home from closing the shop on Sunday. July 26.
After the murder, tensions flared in several parts of the Dakshina Kannada district, with cases of stoning and accusations against police. Section 144 was in place in the Puttur area and security was tightened when protests broke out. Security forces were deployed in Bellare village in Dakshina Kannada district following the incident.
