Roommates, if you’ve put Karrueche Tran and Quavo on your new celebrity couple list… you need to step up the brakes. Following recent reports that she and Quavo are officially dating, Karrueche Tran exclusively confirmed to us that it is not.
“No, we’re not,” she said, despite rumors swirling that the two are the latest celebrity couple. You will recall that the initial rumors started circulating in January after Karrueche Tran and Quavo appeared to be on vacation together.
As we reported earlier in December, Karrueche took to social media to let her fans know where she stands in relationships just before the new year arrives. “Cut men from my diet next year,” she wrote on her Instagram story at the time. In a separate video addressing her dating preferences in 2022, she makes it clear that she doesn’t beat up men, but instead puts herself first.
“I just feel that there is so much strength in being alone, content with being alone, and not depending on a man to confirm or feel good about myself or feel fulfilled. … And sometimes I feel that way and I love attention from men, but it’s also unnecessary and men are a distraction. I’m really trying to take my whole life to the next level. Mentally, physically, my career. Just all of that. So it’s just a bit of a detox,” Karrueche said in the previous clip.
In February 2021, Karrueche Tran and her longtime boyfriend Victor Cruz broke up after 3 years of dating. Meanwhile, Quavo has yet to publicize the rumors regarding the two.
