“[Shonda] wished to attempt to determine how I may do each [parenting and Grey’s], and I type of wished to do each,” Katherine defined. “There wasn’t an effective way to compromise the work schedule that did not negatively have an effect on the crew or the solid. It wasn’t feeling truthful to them or the present to ask them to bend round my wants.”
By 2010, Katherine’s character disappeared fully from the present.
Though the star’s departure from the sequence wasn’t precisely a clean transition, she admits she is partly accountable—particularly on the subject of the general public notion of how issues went down.
