Keanu Reeves teases new movie at Comic-Con – The Hollywood Reporter

John Wick is back in action once again.

The teaser trailer for the fourth installment in the series, John Wickwas shared during a Comic-Con panel on Friday, teasing upcoming epic battle sequences.

In the trailer for the movie Lionsgate, Reeves’ Wick is first seen punching a rope when the formerly retired hitman overhears the question: “What are your thoughts on this? is it over?” and said, “No one, not even you, can kill everyone.”

Throughout the trailer, Reeves’ Wick can be seen confronting various villains and wielding different weapons, including nunchucks. Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King then asked, “Are you ready, John?” to which Reeves’ Wick simply said, “That’s right.”

A glimpse of the film was first introduced at CinemaCon earlier this year. Reeves and director Chad Stahelski told The Hollywood Reporter that one of their goals for the fourth film is to “continue to find new and exciting ways to make John Wick suffer”.

“That’s where the action comes from. Stahelski said at the time, find a way to make him suffer, and then design back.

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum became the highest-grossing film in the action film genre after only 10 days of release. The film grossed $181 million at the global box office, surpassing John Wick: Chapter 2$171.5 million and original John Wick, ended 2014 with $88.7 million worldwide.

As for whether the fourth film will be the final John Wick movie, Reeves said at the time, “We just hit them one by one,” while Stahelski added, “We do it chapter by chapter. one. Just like an author; write the chapter, scratch your head, write the next chapter”.
