E! Previously verifiable news Keeping up with the Kardashians her star and brand SKIMS chartered a flight, allowing members of Afghanistan’s youth development women’s soccer team to arrive in the UK on November 18.

According to the AP news agency, the plane was carrying more than 30 teenage players and their families. In fact, a total of about 130 people landed at Stansted Airport near London this week.

Afghans will follow local health guidelines and undergo 10 days of coronavirus isolation before starting a new life in the UK. Premier League club Leeds United have offered to support the players, according to the Associated Press.

Because the Khalida Popal, who was captain of the Afghanistan women’s national team and helped lead the evacuation efforts, the news that her family and players had arrived safely in England made her “happy and relieved.”
