Kitten Stolen by Tourist Found at O’Hare Airport – CBS Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) – Two kittens that were stolen from a visitor at O’Hare International Airport earlier this month, and later rescued from a trash can, have been found, according to Chicago Police.
Police said the two kittens – Perceive and Nivea – were in a blue pet van, and was stolen from a tourist while he was waiting for his next flight at O’Hare on December 6.

The person who stole the kitten then threw the carrier and the kitten in the trash. Police say two people who found the blue pet carrier rescued the kitten and left the airport.
Hoping to identify the people who rescued the kittens and reunite the pets with their owners, police on Monday released surveillance images of two people leaving the airport with the kittens.

On Wednesday morning, police said the kittens had been rehabilitated, and the matter was still under investigation, but did not provide any further information.
