Laredo Taqueria says residents threatened to sue over fajita
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Manager of Laredo Taqueria said new residents from homes in a nearby town threatened to sue the restaurant because the smoke blew into the windows and made their furniture smell like fajitas.
ABC13’s partners at the Houston Chronicle reported taqueria’s attorney argued that the restaurant was there first, and that buying the home was a resident’s choice.
The taqueria, which opened in 1984, has been serving Houston food for nearly 40 years at 915 Snover Street.
The residents did not take the restaurant to court, and the threats were said to have stopped, the restaurant manager said.
