LaTorre joined Hornet’s staff in July 2019, initially as the team’s pitching coach in 2020 and 2021 before moving on to coaching midfielders and catchers and coordinating efforts. program recruiting in 2022. Prior to joining Sacramento State, LaTorre served as a pitching coach at San Jose State for two seasons and spent two years at San Francisco State as a pitching coach. He also spent two seasons as an assistant coach for Eau Claire Express in the Northwoods Summer League.
