There are more than 50 works in “Dionne Warwick: Queen of Twitter” at Newark Art festival in the Hanes building in downtown Newark. The very busy Warwick finally got the chance to tour the exhibition on Monday.

Beau McCall has been doing button art for over 30 years. He said he thought Warwick’s tweets were a great source of inspiration.

“She’s great because some of the things she says are hilarious and it reminds you of your mom or your aunt, or someone in your family where she’s so mean,” McCall said.

“They asked all the right questions and I gave all the right answers,” explains Warwick.

“She was the blueprint of that top woman in pop, that ballad singer. She is also important because she has a lot of wisdom to share,” says Souleo.

Like all other works of art, it’s a matter of opinion, like a work of Felandus Thames, and by the way, karma doesn’t care if you just do your job.

“We are delighted and honored to have the legendary Dionne Warwick as part of the Newark Arts Festival… and we are delighted to have our hometown hero as a part of it,” said Lauren Lebeaux Craig. of the festival said.
