Leslie Jordan died of natural causes, coroner says

LOS ANGELES –

Leslie Jordan, the actor whose drawl voice and Southern versatility made him prominent on TV series including “Will & Grace” and “American Horror Story,” has died of causes. rather than from a car accident last year, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office concluded.

The 67-year-old actor died of sudden cardiac dysfunction due to atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, as reported by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Jordan died at the scene after his car crashed into the Hollywood area on October 24.

An autopsy did not find any signs of life-threatening trauma, according to the coroner’s report, which listed the cause of death as natural.

Jordan was sober for more than two decades before his death, and toxicology tests did not find any alcohol or drugs in his system.

The 4-foot-11-tall Tennessee native is known for both comedic and dramatic roles. He won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in 2005 for his portrayal of Beverly Leslie in “Will & Grace,” had a recurring role on Mayim Bialik’s comedy series “Call Me Kat,” and played the lead role. in the sitcom “The Cool Kids”.
