Like Rachel Tashjian reports in 2020, many men buy bags through agents on Instagram or WhatsApp. “I have to go to [dealers],” said Dave Oancea, a massive Birkin collector who is better known as Vegas Dave. “They don’t like me sharing who they are, because they ask me to keep it a secret.” Uzi also has an agent that he vaguely shouts out: “We got Birkins from a woman in Miami (Ayy)”
