Lincoln EV concept, Lexus RZ details, VW MEB upgrade: Car News Today


Volkswagen is working on several upgrades to its mass-market MEB electric vehicle platform. Lexus provides more production details for its RZ electric crossover. And Lincoln shows us some of its EV future in a concept car. This and more, here at Green Car Report.

We’ve come close to a Lincoln concept previewing one of the three all-electric models for the brand by 2025with the next fourth place in 2026. But without the interior, the Lincoln EV is a long way off – and that makes us wonder what’s happened to all the EVs from the Ford luxury brand is expected to appear during this time.

Lexus on Wednesday unveiled the brand’s first dedicated electric vehicle. The 2023 Lexus RZ 450e It is expected to arrive in US dealers later this year and will offer around 225 miles of range with all-wheel drive — albeit with a more enjoyable driving experience promised than the Toyota bZ4X and Toyota.
