The Lion Electrical Co. says it has acquired a conditional order for 1,000 electrical college buses from Scholar Transportation of Canada, whose dad or mum firm is managed by Quebec’s pension fund supervisor.
The order, whose worth hasn’t been specified, is conditional on receiving “passable” non-repayable grants from Infrastructure Canada’s Zero Emission Public Transit Fund.
Ottawa has introduced plans to supply $2.75 billion over the following 5 years to help the electrification of public transit and college transportation.
