London, Ont. police seek help in finding stolen dog, truck – London


Police in LondonOnt., is asking the public for help as officers work to find a dog and a truck that was stolen Monday.

Police say the theft is believed to have happened around 4:30pm

The truck, which had a dog inside at the time, was stolen from a nearby parking lot Fanshawe Park West Road and Richmond Streetaccording to the police.

Police said the dog was a 1.5-year-old Mastiff-Shepard hybrid named Jaxx. Jaxx weighs about 60 pounds, has brown fur, and wears a red collar.

The truck is described as a black 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, with distinct orange trim around the hood and grille. It bears the Ontario license plate AP44762.

If the vehicle is seen, members are asked not to approach it but instead to contact the police immediately.
