What is Luka Doncic’s injury?

Injuries continued when the Mavericks superstar tried to block an Austin Rivers catch. Rivers’ body appears to roll over Doncic’s ankle in the aftermath of the play.

The win improved Dallas to 9-4 for the season, taking third at the Western Conference.

Doncic was his usual dominant in the win, finishing with 23 points, eight rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and one tackle over the course of 37 minutes.

How long will Luka Doncic be out?

Doncic was unavailable for post-match media coverage as he was undergoing treatment, with head coach Jason Kidd unable to immediately provide an update.

“Luka has surpassed her own strength,” Kidd said.

“I think he rolled his left foot down, so we’ll see how he feels.”

Tomorrow, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports that examinations on Doncic’s left ankle and knee “revealed no damage.” ESPN’s Tim MacMahon added that his injury is said to be “not too serious” and he will likely be out for a while but hopefully not a stretch.
