Mandalorian season 3 trailer reveals Din and Grogu .’s next epic story
With the release Palestinians season 3 is just over six weeks away, after a two-year hiatus, Lucasfilm rolled out a new trailer on Monday, giving us a glimpse of what’s next in the adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu .
The third installment of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni’s Star Wars series takes place after the ostensibly 2022 side story, Boba Fett’s Book, has shifted things dramatically for the unlikely combination of an armored bounty hunter and a cute Force baby. Grogu has left his Jedi training with Luke Skywalker to reunite with Din (Pedro Pascal, currently starring in Our Last). For his part, Din was banished from his cult, the Children of the Watch, for letting people see him without a helmet. Only a return to Mandalore can restore him to a true Mandalorian, seemingly setting up an adventure to the homeworld of the Mandalorian in season 3.
Din still has the legendary Darksaber, which supposedly allows him to rule over Mandalore, but Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan will probably have something to say about that. Along with Sackhoff, Carl Weathers returns to the show’s cast as Greef Karga, and it looks like they both have major roles in the next chapter of the Western wandering space. Giancarlo Esposito also returns as vile Moff Gideon, and veteran actor Christopher Lloyd (Back to the future‘s Doc Brown) joins the cast. Oh, and Babu Frik is back.
Palestinians Season 3 premieres on Disney Plus on March 1.
