A person who was stabbed Wednesday in a combat at a northeast Calgary CTrain station has died of his accidents, police mentioned Saturday.
On Oct. 27 at 1:30 p.m., police responded to 36 Avenue and Marlborough Drive N.E. for studies of an assault and located a person with stab wounds.
The sufferer was taken to hospital in life-threatening situation and died on Friday, Oct. 29, officers mentioned. Police recognized him as Gil James Scott, 51.
Police charged Joseph Russel Verhaeghe, 34, with manslaughter.
“This isn’t believed to be a random incident,” police mentioned.
