Marvel Snap finally has a PvP Battle Mode, so you can battle your friends
Marvel SnapThe Battle Mode, which allows players to go head-to-head with their friends, will launch on Tuesday, the developers of Second Dinner announced on Monday. Marvel Snap Players have been eagerly anticipating the following friends-only mode it was announced in november. The feature was expected later this month — yes, in line.
Monday Dinner announced the feature in a tweet on Monday: “Coming soon… Get ready for Battle Mode, where you can challenge your friends and see who’s really the best. best,” it wrote. The mode is outlined in a blog post in December: Players who create a match will receive a code to share with their friends — either streamers or “random people,” according to creator Ben Brode. On the opposite side, you join a match by entering that code.
In Battle Mode, a series of matches are played out, with the goal of taking down the opponent. Each player starts with 10 health, and whoever wins a match gets points deducted: two regular points or four points when a player catches a card. (Withdrawing will see the player lose one point.) Battle Mode continues until there are no more points left.

Marvel Snap released globally in October, free on Android, iOS, and on Windows PCs. The fast-paced card game takes place in just six rounds, using cards featuring characters from Marvel’s vast hero roster. Each player builds a deck of 12 cards, where cards are drawn from and into your hand. To win, you must land the highest score in two of the three places where the card lands—but it’s more complicated than it looks. There are many different strategies and ways to arrange a creative deck, accessed by its simple setup.
