Marvel’s Midnight Suns: All Tarot Card Positions
Marvel’s Midnight Suns contains a few side quests and collectible hunts that you can choose to complete when you’re not busy fighting the Hydra and thwarting Lilith’s demon-related plans. Have 22 Marvel themed tarot cards to find inside the Monastery’s base and the surrounding forest, but you’ll need to have them all Words of Power to access the entire map. We’re here to show you exactly where to find each card.
All Tarot Card Positions
Three tarot cards can be found inside the main building of the Monastery, and The Moon is in that trio. It was inside the blacksmithing room, next to a large bookshelf. Of course, the Moon is represented by the Moon Knight for the art of the card.
The Star is in the same room as the Moon – it’s on the opposite side of the smithy, on a red workbench. Nova is the character chosen to represent this suit, and he is used in its card art.
The power is represented by Thor here, and the tarot card is inside the Abbey chapel. It’s next to a small pedestal at the south end of the building.
It’s time to venture outside the main building. Temperance was sitting between two rocks just outside the Monastery. Leave the War Room and head east for a few seconds to find this tarot card. The Cloak and Dagger represent this hidden set as a pair.
The sun is also found around the borders of the Monastery. It is northwest of the fast-moving Blood Gate, on the shore of a small pond. The card uses Johnny Storm, AKA the Human Torch, for its art and description.
This tarot card is located on a rock, just northeast of the Standing Stones. Finding the Mark of the Moon will bring you here to open the first Blood Gate. Jean Gray is used to represent the High Priestess on this card.
All subsequent cards can be found in the southwest of the map. The Justice card uses the She-Hulk for the drawing, and it is found just behind Agatha’s Altar. This is also where the EMO KIDS meetings take place, so you’ll end up here eventually.
The Death tarot card is also directly behind Agatha’s Altar, just slightly behind Justice. It sits on a pile of rocks on a cliff overlooking the south side of the Monastery, and Death itself is used in the card description.
This card is actually a few steps west of Agatha’s Altar. It rests on what looks like a carved stone coffin, and the talisman is represented by one of the luckiest mutants around, Domino.
The Hermit is located right next to the Air Rod holder, so you’ll naturally encounter it by completing the Moon Seals side quest. The card is west of the Whispering Woods fast-moving point and Namor is used in its art.
The Hanged Man is the last tarot card in this area, but you’ll need to use it Revealing the Word of Power to have it. Use Reveal to create a bridge directly behind Agatha’s Altar and it will lead you straight to the Arcane Chest, Haven and the tarot card. Bucky Barnes, AKA the Winter Soldier, represents The Hanged Man here.
These next four cards are located in the northeastern part of the map. The Emperor was in a small clearing next to a table with a skull on it. This site is just south of the fast-travel spot Everflowing Glade and tarot art features T’Challa, Black Panther.
You’ll find The World just north of The Emperor, at Agatha’s Cottage. The Moon Seals side quest will bring you here naturally as you follow Agatha’s instructions. The card is lying on a table just outside the cabin, and Uatu, The Watcher, embodies this hidden card.
The Hierophant is another card you’ll likely come across when completing Agatha’s big side quest. It’s behind Shaw’s Church, and you’ll need to use the Open Word of Power to get through the back door of the building. It was sitting inside a wheelbarrow on its way to the red area. Professor X is used in the description of The Hierophant here.
The Queen can be found sitting behind a headstone in a cemetery, southwest of the Everflowing Glade – the same cemetery you’ll encounter when you find the Hanging Tree. Given that T’Challa is Emperor, it makes perfect sense for Storm to become Empress.
Make your way to the northwest sector to find the next two cards. The Lovers is located inside another, smaller cemetery to the right of the Garden of Envy. Use Open to remove the door blocking your path. This is the cemetery you will enter to find the Moon Seal fragment for Agatha. Elektra and Daredevil represent The Lovers as a pair in tarot art.
The Chariot is found even further west. It was hovering ahead of the last test of the Moon Seal, just north of Lilith’s Garden. use Reveal to create a bridge leading directly to the card. Silver Surfer plays The Chariot in this Marvel themed deck.
The last five tarot cards all require Break the word of power, it’s the hardest thing to get. After you have it, use Break on the northeast wall of The Shop to get to Misty Moors. Judgment is hovering over a dry well, and the mystery is represented by Galactus.
The Devil is also at Misty Moors, just a few steps north of where you found the previous card. It’s on a small table to the right of the aisle. The demon is depicted as Daimon Hellstrom, also known as Hellstorm.
Mages are found more towards the center of the map. You will need to use Break on the wall between Hunter’s Folly and Dreamer’s Descent. The card will be placed on a table on the other side of the wall and its card is represented by Doctor Doom.
The Tower card is actually a bit harder to find. It is located behind a huge pile of rubble, southeast of the fast-moving Dreamer’s Descent. Use Break to clear the path and you’ll see the card lying on the table in the gap. The tower is represented by the Baxter Building, which is a literal tower used by the Fantastic Four.
This last card is located south of Gideon’s Cross. You can get there using Break along the path going north from Dreamer’s Descent. The card is under some kind of temple and Deadpool is used to describe the arcana.
Tarot Card Collection Rewards
When you collect all 22 tarot cards, you will be instantly rewarded salem suit along with its signature Salem’s Savior passive ability. It also comes with two new swords that match the medieval theme. Open the Customize menu to equip equipment whenever you want.
The suit looks like an upgraded version of the first one that the Hunter wears at the start of the game. Its passive gives a 50% chance to draw cards whenever a Hunter defeats one or more Lilins with a skill. There are better passives in the game, but this is a great one when you know Lilin is going to be in teamfights.
