Mazda CX-90 plug-in hybrid 2024 beats Toyota Highlander for PHEV punch
Mazda is likely to overtake Toyota, which still doesn’t have Highlander Prime.
On Monday, the Japanese automaker unveiled the Mazda CX-90 2024 lineup, which includes plug-in hybrid, mild hybrid and three rows of seats with three different seating configurations.
Mazda says all variants of the CX-90 2024 will hit dealerships this spring, but no details are available yet.

Buyers entering the Mazda showroom will have a choice between two engines under the hood of the CX-90. Both will be electrified, and each model is a hybrid.

EPA ratings are not available yet and Mazda would not comment on the electric-only range. The automaker told Green Car Reports that at low speeds, the mild-hybrid powertrain is capable of running on electric-only power while the plug-in hybrid will have enough electric-only range for driving. daily.
