Meat from hunting investigation donated to B.C. food bank
A B.C. meals financial institution was the beneficiary of an investigation into an alleged illegally shot moose.
In line with the B.C. Conservation Officer Service (COS), the investigation of the illegally shot moose close to Fort Nelson in September led to an execution of a search warrant within the Decrease Mainland.

Conservation officers say they seized roughly 300 kilos of lower and wrapped moose meat in consequence.
The COS stated seized meat is often donated to a meals financial institution, a group shelter or an area First Nation, and that this seizure was donated to the Archway Meals Financial institution of Abbotsford.
“We’re grateful to be a part of turning a nasty scenario into one which advantages many in our group. Thanks (B.C. Conservation Officer Service) for selecting to share with us,” Archway Meals Financial institution stated in a put up on social media.

The COS stated costs are pending because the investigation continues.
