Meek Mill and Kevin Hart will donate $7 million to Philly . private schools

Meek Mill and Kevin Hart are students in the Philadelphia public school system. Now, they want to let parents choose which schools their children can attend.

That’s why Mill, Hart, and Michael Rubin Arianne Antonio, their spokeswoman, donated $7 million to private schools in Philly. Antonio said Philadelphia Questioner Contributions to private schools and tax credit programs help “support students who may not have had the opportunity.”

Most grants will reportedly cover low- to moderate-income students for the 2023-2024 academic year. These scholarships will cover at least 60 private and parish schools. In addition to tuition and classroom resources, the money goes for laptops, tablets, and WiFi connections.

The list of schools receiving funds remains confidential. However, Philadelphia Questioner reported that they were south and north of Philly, near Hart and Mill’s childhood stomping grounds.

The scholarship funding will be administered through Organized Business Leadership for Catholic Schools (BLOCS,) that questioner Said to be the state’s ‘largest scholarship organization’.

Meeks and Rubin said they have together contributed more than $17 million to communities in the Philly area over the past few years.
