Meek Mill cheers on the Philadelphia Eagles at the Pre-Super Bowl Show – The Hollywood Reporter

At a pre-Super Bowl concert on Friday, Meek Mill – a proud Philadelphia native – wanted to find out who in the audience was cheering for the opposing team before the big game.

“Are there any Leader fans in the building tonight?” he asked the crowd in Phoenix, Arizona, getting some roars but not much.

He continued: “We need to spot the opponents tonight – so we know who we need to finish before this weekend is over. “Give a shout to all the Chief fans in the building but we’ll work this out anyway.”

The Grammy Award-nominated rapper continues to ignite the stage with hits “Ima Boss,” “Going Bad,” and “Dreams and Nightmares.” His Friday afternoon appearance was part of the Legends Party, organized by the athlete-owned clothing brand Legends.

Rapper Migos Quavo – co-owner of the apparel company – will host another Legends Party on Saturday with DJ Durel. Other co-owners of Legends, founded in 2018 and based in Los Angeles, include Willie McGinest, Baker Mayfield, Matt Barnes, Marcus and Markieff Morris, Steve Nash, Larry Nance Jr., etc.

On Sunday at State Farm Arena, the Kansas City Captains will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles, who won their first Super Bowl championship in 2018. Rihanna will lead the mid-show, while Chris Stapleton, Babyface and Sheryl Lee Ralph — also proud supporters of the Eagles — will perform at pre-match festivities.

“If you’re swinging with the Eagles, make a little noise,” says Meek Mill. “We’re following the Philly style. Come on, let’s do it! Once for the Eagles – I think we’re in for the Super Bowl.
