Megan Thee Stallion ends the 2021 AMAs performance with BTS

Megan Thee Stallion announced that she will no longer perform at the 2021 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 21. The award-winning rapper who took the stage with BTS to perform their hit single, “Butter,” shared the news on Saturday, November 20.
“Fans, I’m so excited to come to @AMAs and perform with @BTS_official, but due to a personal emergency, I can’t attend anymore,” Megan said. wrote on Twitter, add two crying emojis. “I’m so sad! I can’t wait to get on stage with you guys and perform #BTS_Butter very soon!”
The 26-year-old musician did not reveal any further details.
E! News has reached out to representatives for Megan, as well as the American Music Awards for comment, but we have yet to receive a response.
However, the awards show released a statement on the star’s news, share on twitter, “We’ll miss you, @theestallion! [red heart emoji]”
