Shown as part of an exhibition titled “Diana, Princess of Wales by Mario Testino” in 2005, the photo was among Testino’s last photographs of the Princess of Wales. In the portrait (taken five months before her death), she posed in a beautiful off-the-shoulder gown by Catherine Walkerdressed in the Markle look of today.
Designed by Brand New York Khaite, Markle’s off-the-shoulder bodysuit is like an emotional nod to the late princess. Combining classic ruching with a modern twist, the jumpsuit features a ruched neckline, textured knot detail and stretch cotton shirt hem.
The Duchess tucked it into tailored smoking pants, forming a case for easy day-to-night wear. She kept her jewelry to a minimum, outfitted with a simple gold necklace, stud earrings, two diamond bracelets and a ring. Her wavy hair is parted in the middle, with two curls falling into her light, seductive make-up. Hidden under her trousers, a pair of mesh pointed toe heels with satin trim by Manolo Blahnik completed her outfit.
This is one of the many ravishing looks Markle wore to the sporting event. For the welcoming reception, she ate a dish Valentino two-breasted suitaccessories with her Cartier Tank Française featured watch, which Princess Diana also loved. Later that day, she was photographed in a small white dress with small floral cuts on the shoulders and necklineembrace spring style forward.
