Mercedes-AMG and will.i.am present a unique G-Class-like coupe
Mercedes-AMG has lifted the veil of secrecy about the mysterious car it designed with rapper will.i.am. The one-door model in coupe form is called will.i.AMG — we couldn’t make this, friends — it was based on the GT Four-Door Coupe and borrowed style cues. from G-Class.
“I grew up in a slum. I grew up with hip-hop. I watched legendary hip-hop artists rap about it. Mercedes-Benz, so owning one is always a dream. From many angles, there is little to suggest that will.i.AMG is even remotely related to GT . four-door coupe. It’s a practical coupe with two doors, for starters, and it’s characterized by almost G-ClassThe front end resembles the round headlights and rectangular grille mounted in a boxy frame. Check out the icon: it’s a new icon based on the three-pointed star will.i.am created and named “Bear Witness.” The one-off also features vents punched into both fenders, extra-long suicide doors and a panoramic roof panel. Images of the back have not been released, but a look at the lights and shape of the bumper suggests that will.i.AMG is more like a GT out back.
We don’t know what the inside looks like yet, but we do know that no major mechanical changes were made during the build process.

AMG notes that all the activities surrounding will.i.AMG will benefit the i.am.angel Foundation, which provides scholarships and opportunities in science, technology, engineering education, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). And, the joint project is part of a mission called The Flip that aims to provide more students from disadvantaged communities with access to STEAM education. More specifics are still few and far between, but the Bear Witness logo will appear on a limited-edition line of clothing and accessories that will be sold at the Mercedes-Benz Experience Center in Miami, Florida, and online. line. Proceeds from the sale of this merchandise will be donated to the i.am.angel Foundation.
