Mike Trout mutes sound when locking MLB
The MLB Players Association and players across the entire sport are shutting down after an ongoing owner-imposed lockdown resulted in the first two series of the season being cancelled.
There can be no one to summarize the players’ stance better than Los Angeles Angels Mike Trout, who took to social media on Wednesday to express the solidarity of players across the league and their efforts. Efforts are made to keep the whole season from being cancelled.
“We owe it to the next generation,” Trout wrote. “I love our game, but I know we need to do the right CBA.”
