The Twins got off to a great start in 2022 and took first place at American League Central. The Twins’ 33-25 record in tonight’s game is good enough to lead the four-game leaderboard.
Before the Twins signed Carlos Correa, not many people chose them to be their successors. After all, the team lost 89 games last year. The biggest question for the group was to start pitching.
Chris Archer, Sonny Gray and Joe Ryan played brilliantly to start 2022, but the only fittest of the three was Chris Archer. Both Gray and Ryan are on IL 15 days.
Archer put on a solid performance last night against the Yankees. Archer played five innings, allowing only one game against the best team in baseball. Archer spoke about his performance to the media after last night’s game. He is now 1-2 with an ERA of 3.65.
