Missy Elliott’s Transformation Sparks Caresha Compare
Ms. Elliott51 years old, is making headlines on social media when fans compare her latest look to City Girls rapper Yung Miami.
The Grammy Award-winning artist celebrated her nomination to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this week, though that’s not the only thing that got people talking. Elliott tweeted about his feelings, saying,
“I cried all my tears. I’ve always dreamed big, but this nomination is even bigger than I dreamed of and I’m so grateful.”

Fans think Missy Elliott & Caresha look alike
The day after announcing the Hall of Fame, Missy celebrated with a video of her showing off her changed outfit. Comments poured in from fans praising the singer, such as, “she’s getting old” and “you deserve to be honored sis, cycle!” But they also made a very specific comparison between Missy and another young rapper.
As the video began to reach more people on social media, fans began comparing the star’s new look to City Girls rapper Yung Miami, tag her in the video.

Missy and Caresha, 28, have actually worked together in the past. In 2021, rapper Supa Dupa Fly directed the official ‘Twekulator’ video for The City Girls. However, the Miami rapper has yet to comment on the online rumors from fans comparing her to Missy Elliott.

Missy, Lil Wayne & Dr. Dre was honored in the Pre-Grammy event
Adding to her eventful week, Missy joined the likes of Lil Wayne and Dr. Dre when they were honored for their musical achievements at a pre-Grammy Awards event. The performance received the Global Impact Award.
Elliott’s emotional speech honoring Sylvia Rhone, music executive and CEO of Epic Records, moved some in the audience to tears, CBS reported. The four-time Grammy Award winner praised Rhone for seeing potential in her, despite her own doubts. Rhone, known as one of the most influential executives in the industry, made history in 1994 as the first woman and only African-American to hold the presidency. and chief executive officer of Elektra Entertainment Group.
