Mitsubishi Triton 2022 price and specifications
Mitsubishi announced some running changes to Triton uterine scope, which it calls a “22.5MY” car.
Production began in April, with deliveries expected mid-2022.
Prices are rising across the board, with most models up $1000 but some models going up to $2450.
All models fitted with the petrol GLX 4×2 cabin chassis now feature a larger 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and wired Apple CarPlay and a quad-sound system. speakers (six speakers in the GSR).
The gas-powered GLX combines a smaller 6.1-inch screen and two speakers.
The GSR regains its surround-view camera as standard equipment, having lost it as part of changes called the MY22 Triton announced last June unless the buyer specifies the Tan Interior package. Orange.
It is viewed on the 7.0-inch Display Audio infotainment system, which differs from the 7.0-inch MiDisplay unit found on other variants including the GLS by one notch.
The latest “22.5 millionY” update follows a series of minor specs tweaks made as part of the aforementioned update last year, which saw the price jump from $250. dollars to 1200 dollars.
The GLX and GLX-R 4×4 dual cabs have lost their manual variants, although the GLX-R 4×2 dual cabs have joined the range. All GLX-R models receive new black alloy wheels.
GLX ADAS trim levels have been cut, but the GLX’s dual-cabin and chassis have acquired the additional active safety and driver assistance features of the defunct variant.

Engine
The Mitsubishi Triton 2022 is available with two engines.
Available only in the base GLX Single Cabin chassis as a naturally aspirated 2.4 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine manufacturing 94kW power and 194Nm of torque. It is only available with a five-speed manual transmission.
All other Mitsubishi Triton 2022 models use 2.4 liter 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine manufacturing 133kW power and 430Nm of torque. It is available with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
Energy saving
The base Mitsubishi Triton GLX, with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine, consumes 11.4L / 100km.
In rear-wheel drive form, Mitsubishi Triton 2022 diesel consumes 7.8L / 100km on the combined cycle in Single Cab with manual transmission and 8.3L / 100km with an automatic.
In the automatic guise Double Cab, it uses 8.4L / 100km.
With four-wheel drive, Mitsubishi Triton diesel consumes 7.9L / 100km on the combined cycle with the manual transmission and 8.6L / 100km with an automatic.
All Tritons have a 75L fuel tank.
Size
Measures Mitsubishi Triton 2022 5295mm long in the guise of Club Cab and 5305mm in the guise of Double Cabend. The chassis length depends on the tray.
Triton is 1775mm as tall as a rear-wheel drive single cab and 1780mm as a rear-wheel drive Double Cab or any four-wheel drive variant.
This does not include 4WD Single Cabin (1785mm) and GLX-R, GLS and GSR Double Cabs (1790mm).
All Tritons Measure 1815mm wide.
Two different four-wheel drive systems are available on the Triton, with GLS and GSR models using Mitsubishi’s Super Select II system adding a full-time all-wheel drive mode.
All-wheel drive models use All-Terrain tires with the exception of the GLX-R, GLS and GSR, while only the GLX+, GLX-R, GLS and GSR have a locked rear differential.
The approach and departure angles of the Triton 4×4 sample are 30 degrees and 22 degrees, respectively (31 degrees and 23 degrees in the GSR). The ramp angle is between 25 and 26 degrees on all models.
Unlabelled drag is 750kg across the entire range, while braking differently. Its 1800kg in GLX gasoline, 2500kg in a diesel single-cab chassis, and 3000-3100kg on the rest of the range.
Service and Warranty
Mitsubishi’s standard warranty covers 5 years or 100,000 km, but as long as you return to one of its dealers for each warranty, this will extend to 10 years or 200,000 km.
Service at dealers also allows you to take advantage of 10 years of Mitsubishi’s limited-price service.
Triton vehicles are required to have regular maintenance every 12 months or 15,000 km. There are two different limited-price service schedules for the different powertrains offered.

Safety
When the Mitsubishi Triton was tested by ANCAP in 2015, it received a rating of five stars.
That rating is based on a frontal offset score of 15.22 out of 16 and a lateral impact score of 16 out of 16. Pedestrian protection and Whiplash are rated Good and Acceptable, respectively.
All versions of the Mitsubishi Triton 2022 are equipped as standard with front, side and curtain airbags, as well as a driver’s knee airbag and anti-lock brakes.
All models get the base GLX in Single Cabin form, and the manual Club Cab bodywork also includes automatic emergency braking with forward collision warning, as well as lane departure warning.
The GLS and GSR add blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
