If the pandemic has taught me anything, it’s that when it comes to clothing, I’m emphasizing more cozy, everyday basics – sadly, chic evening gowns. The more time I spend at home, the more I want to feel completely and completely at ease, and Repairs is here with the answer.
The personal styling service known for curated selections delivered directly to your door just last month launched Mohnton Made, an exclusive brand of everyday staples give women and man, and I was fortunate to test the goods.
Covers all the basics – tees, tanks, hoodies, sweats, runners and more – Mohnton Done products are available in an on-trend palette of moody neutrals such as cream, grey, beiges, indigo and olive. All colors look great with denim — or, you know, with sweatpants. (Fear not: Mohnton Made already lots of matching kit options!)
After trying a wide range of items, I can say that all Mohnton Made ceramics are of high quality – with prices ranging from $34 to $78, these are investments that will last years. not a few months. With its clean, streamlined design, each piece may look plain on a hanger, but once you put them on and experience the heavier fabric than most (premium cotton and recycled polyester) and a snug fit. modern (e.g. top, boxier shape and slightly cropped hem), you’ll quickly realize that this is now your “nice” t-shirt or your “favorite” pair of running pants. That’s not to say you need to wear these pieces on date night, but that they’re worth every penny.
Decline: Sustainability and Inclusivity
Quality and design aside, Mohnton Made checks a lot of other boxes for me. First and foremost, the made-in-USA brand represents a huge step forward towards Stitch Fix’s promise to sustainably supply 100% of key ingredients to its private brands by 2025. how? Produced at the Mohnton Mills knitting and mill in Mohnton, Pennsylvania – which has produced apparel since 1906 – the brand “allows Stitch Fix to fully support and commit to social responsibility, includes the use of more sustainable fabrics, recycled materials and natural dyes Loretta Choy, said Stitch Fix’s General Manager for Women, along with low production volumes to make a small environmental footprint More,” added Loretta Choy, General Manager of Women at Stitch Fix, “We firmly believe that we have a responsibility to make the change we want to see in the industry, and Mohnton Made is one of them. There are many ways in which we are transforming our operations with sustainability.”
More on those dyes: Stitch Fix works with Pennsylvania-based Green Matters Natural Dye Company to color Mohnton Made items, relying on collected rainwater and botanicals like dandelion root, myrobalan and clutch for fabric staining. The eco-friendly result is the aforementioned subtle color palette (which, by the way, varies slightly from batch to batch), all completely natural.

Perfectly boxy and roomy, this nearly cropped long-sleeve t-shirt hits just below the waistline, making it modern and flattering at the same time. Available in grey, olive, burnt orange and indigo, it’s a great option to team up or to wear with a few pairs of jeans while running errands.
Meet your new favorite pair of sweatpants! Boasting a classic buckle ankle, high waist and contrast drawstring, the pants are both comfortable and flattering – the hardest part is choosing which of the four colors you love. (I’m a big fan of black, which has a fun multicolored blob throughout.)
I will go ahead and declare this tank the most flattering ever. With a crew neck and almost-but not-quite-racerback design, this tank is super versatile, perfect for casual and formal occasions.
We all need a basic tee shot, and trust me, this is a good tee. Designed with a wide crew neck, narrow waist and longer hemline, the shirt can be buttoned or worn unbuttoned and comes in three colors (burnt orange, olive and indigo) as well as cute black and white stripes .
Not all hoodies are created equal, but this one is definitely at the top of my list. I love the cropped, boxy look, which is super flattering with leggings and looks just as cute with the brand’s joggers and wide-leg pants (see below).
Tight pants, but make it fashionable! Seriously, these cropped wide-leg pants are just too cute for you to just lounge around on the couch, though they’re certainly comfortable enough to do so. Pair with a matching sweater above or a white t-shirt or tank top and you’ll look charismatic enough to meet friends for coffee.
