Monkey Island meets Monty Python in ‘Lucy Dreaming’, out next month


If you have finished Back to Monkey Island and simply want to dive into another point-and-click adventure, then good news, because Tall Story Games’ dreamy lucy will be launched on Switch on February 28, 2023.

Described as a mixture of Monkey island, Monty Pythonand black crocodilegame – originally released on October 2022 on Steam and mobile – starring Lucy, who finds herself in the “very British” town of Figgington amid a decades-long mystery. With the same image as quite excellent Thimbleweed Park and voice talent including Dominic Armato (Guybrush Threepwood) himself, it certainly looks like someone to keep a close eye on.

Cycle around the small English town of Figgington to meet its ironic inhabitants. Use your map to explore every nook and cranny, from the ruined town center to the local pub as you uncover the town’s darkest and deepest secrets.

Learn techniques for controlling dreams and penetrating Lucy’s mind to unlock hidden memories, uncover the past, and uncover the disturbing truth behind her recurring nightmares .

Along the way, you will need to solve countless puzzles, so pour yourself a good cup of tea and develop your observation, logic and multidimensional thinking.

From her dysfunctional family and cynical Figgington townsfolk to a multitude of extraordinary characters from the depths of Lucy’s subconscious, you have what it takes to appease giant crabs , interrogating old ladies, pleasing toddlers and haggling with spoilers?
