Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is a new RPG released in 2023
The Mortal Kombat franchise is getting a new mobile game called Mortal Kombat: Onslaught in 2023, according to Warner Bros’ announcement. It will be developed by NetherRealm Studios, the developers behind the main Mortal Kombat console titles, and is an RPG where players “build a battle squad from a huge roster of characters – and unleash their emancipation. them in massive group battles in real time.”
According to creative director Ed Boon, Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is “a collectible, team-based strategy RPG with fast-paced, team-based melee combat.” From the description, it looks like players will be able to collect fighters and participate in multiplayer activities – although the exact look has yet to be announced.
