Two Northern California faculties had been positioned on lockdown Monday after a mountain lion was seen close by, authorities mentioned.
The cat, described as an grownup feminine, was first seen on a creek path Monday morning simply east of Evergreen Elementary Faculty in Rohnert Park, about 50 miles north of San Francisco, town’s public security division mentioned.
Evergreen and a center faculty, Lawrence Jones, had been locked down round 8 a.m. as native authorities waited for wildlife specialists and officers from the state Division of Fish and Sport.
