Movies and TV Shows Leaving in March – The Hollywood Reporter

Zack Synder’s Historical Activist 300led by Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise Interview with a Vampire and the adventures of the Robin Williams family Jumanji is one of the titles leaving Netflix in March.

The big screen adaptation of the comic book series by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley, directed and co-written by Snyder 300 – a fictional retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae during the Persian War – alongside Kurt Johnstad and Michael B. Gordon. Executive produced by Miller, the film stars Gerard Butler as King Leonidas, who leads 300 Spartans into battle against the Persian “God-King” and his more than 300,000 soldiers. The series will leave Netflix on March 30, which also features Rodrigo Santoro, Lena Headey, Dominic West and Michael Fassbender among the cast.

Oscar-nominated 1994 film adaptation of Anne Rice’s famous gothic horror Interview with a Vampire will also be leaving at the end of the month. Starring Brad Pitt as Louis and Tom Cruise as Lestat, the film follows Christian Slater’s reporter Daniel Molloy in San Francisco as he interviews a man who claims to be a vampire. As they talk, Louis details his life – dating back to 1791, how he met his maker Lestat, and the tumultuous centuries since his regretful choice. The film also stars Antonio Banderas and Kirsten Dunst.

Jumanji, the mid-’90s fantasy adventure starring Robin Williams as a man trapped inside the board game wild comes to life, leaves in March as well as doc… two thousand and thirteen Mandela: Long walk to freedom which chronicles the life of anti-apartheid revolutionary and former South African president from his childhood.

Other titles and TV shows leaving the streamer include romance dramas As good as it learnsPixar’s best-selling animated film I am despicablehorror Paranormal activitywestern steampunk Wild West and all two seasons of the BBC One series Dr. Foster.

Despite all the content removed, Netflix has announced a number of new movies and TV shows will be added during the month.
