Kamala Khan went from fantasizing about superheroes to being one of the people in the first trailer for Ms. MarvelMarvel Studios’ upcoming series focuses on teenagers.
Canadian newcomer Iman Vellani plays Kamala, a New Jersey high school student and a huge fan of her world’s superheroes, especially Captain Marvel. The series premieres June 8 on Disney+, and follows Kamala as she balances school, family, and her newly discovered superpowers.
