‘Multiple offenders:’ Man accused of raping 18-year-old pizza delivery woman in Kissimmee
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A 55-year-old man described by authorities as a “prolific offender” was arrested Tuesday for allegedly raping an 18-year-old woman delivering pizza in Kissimmee.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said Osvaldo Figueroa assaulted the woman Sunday in an elevator at an apartment complex on Lepic Street.

Figueroa, released from prison earlier this year after serving a sentence for trafficking in stolen property, is in Lake County, where he was arrested on a sex crime charge.
“All participants did a great job. (There was no) sleep until we caught this guy and got him out on the street,” Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez said.
While being escorted to prison, Figueroa became agitated and wrestled with a detective while shouting obscenities.
Lopez said Figueroa has a 35-year criminal past, including convictions for drugs and robbery.
“He could have about 70, 80 arrests. Multiple convictions,” said Lopez. “This guy should be in jail today. Not sure what’s wrong with the system, but it needs to change.”
Sheriff officials said Figueroa was with a woman when he was arrested. She has been questioned by detectives, but it is not known if she will face any charges.
Lopez said the pizza delivery driver was fine.
“She is fine, and she has been informed (about the arrest),” he said. “She’s very grateful and happy that we found him so quickly and arrested him.”
