Myles Turner gets big contract extension with Pacers
Indiana Pacers and star center Myles Turner have agreed to a massive two-year contract extension that will pay him $60 million for the duration of the deal, according to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Such agreement shall also include renegotiated NBA record $17.1 to his 2022-23 salary.
It was an important deal for the Pacers as Turner was once a well-known name in the NBA’s pre-term trade deal in the event contract negotiations fell apart. Apparently, that didn’t happen, and he should stay in Indiana for the foreseeable future.
That means the Pacers now have a core of Turner and Tyrese Haliburton to build around.
Turner has played his entire career with the Pacers since being picked with an 11th overall pick in the 2015 draft. Over the course of his eight-year career, he’s developed into one of the biggest hit. top of the NBA.
