NAACP Warns Against Travel to Florida in Advisory: ‘Openly Hostile’

The statement also mentions Florida forbidden book about content related to race or gender identity and DeSantis’ defile diversity, equity, and inclusion programs at state colleges and universities. Governor Ron DeSantis and the state of Florida have engaged in a blatant war against pluralist principles. identity and inclusion, while rejecting our shared identities to appeal to a dangerous, radical minority,” Leon Russel, NAACP Board Chairman, said in the statement.

He added: “We will not allow our rights and our history to be held hostage for political savvy.
