Like most people out there, I got myself a free *extra AF* card on birthday. It’s the one day of the year that I can really get to the top and no one can really say anything about it (thanks birthday gods based on that). What I’m having trouble with, though, is figuring out what to wear on this special day—and I’m not just talking about clothes. My birthday is next week (3-0 big), and of course, the first thing I do is do a Google “birthday nail design” to get me ideas. commemorative manicure. I didn’t find much inspiration for myself and so this article was born. I decided to ask three nail artists for some fresh ideas.

Hemi Park. “For example, mani inspired by astrological signs or favorite hand-drawn characters (like Disney) may be typical, or holiday destination-inspired designs are also popular.” I usually recommend choosing bold colors or patterns on shorter nails.Seeing current trends, choosing reflective glitter polishes and French nails with bold accents can really make a look. your nails stand out. They’re also super fun to wear to celebrate your birthday week or month.”
That quote alone gave me a lot of inspiration, but Park really didn’t stop there. “Any design with interesting elements like thermal or reflective paint [are great]. my favorite is LeChat Nails Sky Dust Collection, which is also absolutely great for party season. Especially for the fun photography season, I recommend trying reflective glitter nail polish because those glitters stand out under bright lights and camera flash. Personally, I also love incorporating reflective glitter particles in a plaid design for a little extra fun.”
