NASA’s Webb Space Telescope reveals first stunning full-color image (NYSE:NOC)



NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope, built by a collaboration led by Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC), provide its first image on Monday of the deepest infrared image of the universe ever seen.

Image showing galaxy cluster SMACS 0723 as it appeared 4.6 billion years ago.

Webb’s first full series of full color images and data will be revealed Tuesday during a NASA TV live broadcast.

Separately, Northrop Grumman (NOC) said Monday that it has completed a preliminary design review for a High-energy laser prototype would have some defense applications if expanded.

In March 2021, the United States Department of Defense awarded Northrop Grumman (NOC) a $72 million contract to demonstrate a high-energy laser prototype using the company’s consistent beam-coupled technology.

The company says it will test the prototype at increasingly high wattages later this year to demonstrate a coherent beam-coupled design.

Northrop Grumman’s (NOC) revenue growth will accelerate in the second half of 2022 and last through 2023 and beyond, Dhierin Bechai wrote in a bullish analysis posted on Seeking Alpha.
