Nashville’s Daddy’s Dogs offers free milkshakes as proof of vasectomy

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) – A hot dog restaurant in Nashville is offering free milkshakes to men with vasectomy.

On July 4, protesters held signs such as “Required Vasoconstrictors” outside the Tennessee Capitol due to the overturned Roe v. Wade case. This comes after abortion was halted in Tennessee last week.

Dad’s Dogs just had their Superbowl.

“Yesterday was July 4th, so we are in full recovery mode,” says Sean “Big Daddy” Porter.

But they’re still scooping hot dogs and making milkshakes.

“We finished last night at 7pm, so no one missed out, but it’s always a pity when we run out of stuff; I feel like McDonald’s,” he said.

He has a “Snip for Shake” deal right now.

“There were a couple of people who liked the screaming stuff when they drove past, or you know, trolled us online,” Porter said, having received a few passers-by. ”

Porter estimates they’ve provided about 15 free milkshakes so far.

He noted that he had been sniped years ago. Honestly, he doesn’t want to have children.

“And my name is Daddy, right? Who would think,” Porter said.

Clients need to bring a doctor’s note or proof from insurance that they had the procedure.

“Email or text your doctor and say like ‘Hey I want a milkshake, can you help me?’ And most of them say, ‘this is hilarious’ — right,” Porter said.

Customers get a hit from it.

“Well, okay, maybe I should get a vasectomy,” said Nikolas Lingle.

Little did Lingle know that there had been an increase in men asking about a vasectomy since Roe’s lawsuit against Wade was exposed. Turned out, A local urologist in town has seen an increase in men wanting to trim.

“Men’s choices are like that,” Lingle said.

Big Daddy is having fun attention.

“Let’s keep building an empire,” Porter said.

“Snip for Shake” runs through July.

“People are getting used to it,” says Porter, “Everybody used to be like, ‘no! There’s nothing there!'”
