Alabama Head Coach Nate Oats seems genuinely concerned that star forward Brandon Miller might not be able to play in the team’s second-round game against Maryland on Saturday.
Miller was recovering from a groin injury and was unable to score after playing just 19 minutes of the Crimson Tide’s first-round win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Oats hinted Friday that there’s no guarantee Miller will be ready to play, while noting that Alabama is ready to move into team depth if needed.
