Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe: Iran sentences British-Iranian charity worker to another year in jail

Zaghari-Ratcliffe was handed a second jail sentence and journey ban on fees of spreading propaganda in opposition to the regime on the finish of April. She had been first detained at a Tehran airport in April 2016 following a trip to see her household along with her daughter.

After the newest setback in her case, Zaghari-Ratcliffe has requested to talk to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, within the hopes that he safe her launch with the Iranian delegation touring to Glasgow for COP26.

Zaghari-Ratcliffe was given British diplomatic safety in 2019 and has been designated a prisoner of conscience by Amnesty Worldwide.
In 2019, her supporters mentioned she was transferred to psychological ward of a hospital in Tehran and was being denied visits from her father.
