New Brunswick Community College in Saint John under lockdown, police called

Saint John’s campus New Brunswick Community College is on lockdown, according to the school’s official Twitter account.

NBCC tweeted at 10:20 a.m. that buildings on the Grandview campus are on immediate lockdown.

“If you are in place, assess your situation and RUN – HIDE – RUN. If you are outside the venue, stay away until the First Responder gives the message “Absolutely clear”, ” Read Tweets.

Saint John police tweeted shortly before 10:40 a.m. they were responding to campus for “an unspecified issue”.

Just after 10:50 a.m., police tweeted that they were investigating, but there was “no sign of a threat to safety.”
