New Fortnite Season Removes Building, Adds Doctor Strange

While the big change of the season is the removal of buildings, there are quite a few other changes as well, mainly to help players adjust to the new gameplay. Default movement speed is now higher than before, which means sprint speed is also higher. Players can now also climb high ledges that they can’t jump to. The new season introduces some Marvel characters to the world, like Sorcerer Supreme and Prowleralong with tanks and resistance fighters from Fortnite The universe. The Resistance is on a mission to restore construction to the game, so it’s likely the feature will return at some point in the near future. Epic also noted in its patch notes that the building is still in Fortnitecompetitive modes.
Of course, as with previous seasons, there are also new weapons in Chapter 3 season 2, including battle SMGs and Assault Rifles, as well as vehicles like tanks and stationary cannons. The new season also includes new attractions around the island.
