New Sask 7-day low. 3 months of COVID-19 cases reported on Friday
Saskatchewan’s seven-day average daily new COVID-19 cases fell below 100 for the first time since Aug.
The seven-day average fell to 97 Friday from 102 on Thursday.
According to the provincial government’s census, there are 89 new cases, bringing the total number of infections in Saskatchewan to 80,025 cases.

The death toll related to COVID-19 in Saskatchewan rose by 3 to 908 on Friday. Those who have recently died who have tested positive for the virus include two between the ages of 60 and 79 while the other is 80 or older.
The province’s active infection rate increased slightly, now at 1,102. The Saskatoon region leads with 234 cases.
Hospitals in the province are currently caring for 157 patients with COVID-19: 118 are in inpatient treatment and 39 are in ICU. As of Friday, 69.4% of hospitalized patients were not fully vaccinated.
There are 10 Saskatchewan residents in out-of-province ICUs, according to officials.

The number of recoveries from the virus has increased by 83 to a total of 78,015.
According to the dashboard, 1,644 COVID-19 tests were performed on Thursday. Up to now, 1,259,771 inspections have been carried out in the province.
The total number of vaccines vaccinated in the province is 1,707,308 types.
