NFL Odds, Lines, Spot Spreads: Week 12 Betting Updates to Pick Every Game

Bad news for bettors: another double-digit underdog team won outright in Week 11. The Titans fell into the hands of the Texans, who used a solid defensive performance to beat one of the top AFC teams.

If you happen to be betting on the Texas money line on that game, give yours the power. But many bettors think the Titans could be an easy pick against the arbitrage as their recent successes have been marred, as the losers have had another strong week and moved on. makes even the most frugal gamblers shiver.

Going into Week 12, the NFL scene looks like a mess. There are 12 teams with a record better than .500 in the AFC. The NFC only has six, but the Wild Card race in that convention is shaping up to be a fight between the current five winning teams.

The 2021 NFL season is as unpredictable as ever, and that may not change. But at least some groups are starting to work and emerge as potential candidates. The Cardinals continue to perform at their best each week. The Chiefs and Buccaneers are also beginning to perfect. And each division leader at least began to withdraw when the league was getting ready for its long haul.

But hey, it’s still a season of surprises, so expecting things to calm down in the final month and a half of the season might be foolish. As a result, it is still imperative for bettors to search for overrated and underrated teams, find the best fit and know the latest injury news to take advantage of NFL odds, trends and spreads. point deviation can prove effective.

And if there was a chance to find another Texan instead of the nasty Titan, it could prove to be incredibly valuable. That said, there haven’t been any lines lower than double digits in Week 12. In fact, these lines are the most aggregate to date, with no line outside the means of blocking Thanksgiving standing on. a six-point difference as of Wednesday, November 24. So if anything goes wrong, it won’t be as shocking as some of the others we’ve seen this year.

The best bets for the NFL for Week 12

Seahawks (+1) in Washington

Full disclosure: we tried betting on the Seahawks as the underdog last week against Colt McCoy and the Cardinals. That didn’t work, as the outspoken McCoy and Cardinals confused the Seahawks, beating them 23-13 at home and trailing them out of the playoffs with a 3-7 record.

So why do we go back to the well and trust the Seahawks again? Well, the reason is simple. Had one big Let’s chase the spread of this game that may eventually lean towards Seattle.

The enhanced spreads for this game benefit the Seahawks significantly. They are favored for 3.5 points on the road in Washington. Currently, the spread has oscillated 4.5 points in the opposite direction. Yes, that has something to do with the Seahawks’ struggles. It’s also due to Washington’s recent success, as the Soccer Team is on a streak of wins over the Buccaneers and Panthers.

However, a 4.5 point swing in the spread is one main evolution. The Seahawks were each expected to win this game by more than one goal. Now, they basically just need to win (or draw) to cover this difference. Those are some good line values, especially considering that Russell Wilson is straight up 36-11 after losing. It is true, he lost last week despite the defeat, but that should put him on a better footing in a game against a defense that has proven weaker than the Cardinals’ over the course of a year. .

It’s also important to reiterate that Wilson’s finger injury will have another week to heal and he will have an extra day of rest before “Monday Night Football”. That could prove important for him as he looks to regain his dominant throwing form.

Is this a risk? Sure, but the Seahawks will have to give it back at some point, right? And while casual bettors might think Seattle is done, they haven’t raised their glasses yet. As long as Russell Wilson is playing, he will do whatever it takes to win. This is a potential opportunity to do so, although the Seahawks’ defense will have to find a way to challenge Taylor Heinicke.

Titans (+6) at Patriots

The Patriots have been outstanding in recent weeks, winning five games in a row and covering every one of them. However, all good things must come to an end, and for the Patriots, that could happen with the Titans.

Tennessee has had its share of the issues in recent weeks. They did not include fighting games and were controlled only by lowly Texans. That said, they should be ready and motivated to get through that as the underdog.

The Titans have been elite as an underdog this year. They have actually posted a 5-0 record against the spread as an underdog, so they seem to be thriving under Mike Vrabel. They will have a chance to stay in the game against the Patriots and getting 6 points seems possible.

Of course, the Titans will need some reruns to replace Derrick Henry, be it D’Onta Foreman or Dontrell Hilliard. They will also need Ryan Tannehill to avoid mistakes. He threw four interceptions against the Texans last week but only eight times over the yeart in the weeks before that.

If Tannehill can dribble accurately and avoid big mistakes, the Titans should move the ball a bit towards the Patriots.

Speaking of New England, they’re not an explosive offensive team, so the Titans are a good fit for them. They have the fourth best running defense in the NFL and allow an average of just 97.8 yards of charge per game. They may be defeated, but Mike Vrabel will likely try to take more opportunities to get Mac Jones out of his position and upset him.

Vrabel could also find a way to eliminate bot lanes on the pitch and force Jones into deep defence. The Patriots’ signal caller is one of the most accurate passers in the league, but his deep dribbles are still in progress. He completed 13 of 38 passes over 20 meters in 408 metres, three touchdowns and three interceptions.

Either way, this is way too many points for a team like the Titans. They led 8-3 for a reason and performed extremely well as a bottom team. New England could win this game, but if they’re distracted by an upcoming major divisional change with the Bills on “Monday Night Football” in Week 13, they’ll be hard pressed to stop. prevent competition from the Titans.

NFL POWER RANKINGS: Cowboys slip after losing against the Chiefs

Falcons (-1) at Jaguars

In recent weeks, the Falcons have proven to be intimidating against a few sizable opponents. They were overtaken by a combined 68-3 against the Cowboys and Patriots and look to be heading in the wrong direction after looking like a sleeper in the early playoffs.

However, the Falcons will play the Jaguars in Week 12, and Jacksonville fits the profile of the teams Atlanta beat this year.

The Falcons have beaten some of the NFL’s worst competitions to date. They won over Giants, Jets, Dolphins, and Saints. Three of the four teams placed in the last eight of Football Outsiders’ DVOA Index , “breaks down each game over the entire season, comparing per-game success with league averages based on a number of variables including achievement, distance, position on the field, point gap the present, the first half and the quality of the opponents.”

In other words, it ranks how good defense compares to the rest of the league. And for the most part, the Falcons’ wins have come against teams with poor defences. Their only loss against a team ranked 12th in DVOA was against Washington in a tough battle.

Week Protest DVOA Rankings Result
first compared to the eagle 12nd L, 32-6
2 at Buccaneers Day 1 L, 48-25
3 at Giants 25th W, 17-14
4 compared to Washington 24th L, 34-30
5 compared to a jet Day 31 W, 27-20
7 at Dolphins 27th W, 30-28
8 compared to the Panthers Day 19 L, 19-13
9 at Saints 9th W, 27-25
ten at Cowboys 4th L, 43-3
11 compared to patriots 3rd L, 25-0

Where does Jacksonville rank on DVOA? They register in 28th place in the NFL, and they only get 1.8 bags per game on average, good for a handful of sixth bags in the NFL. That should give Matt Ryan enough time to make plays in the pocket and win.
