NFL player Malik Harrison suffers non-life-threatening wound from stray bullet



With the Ravens not scheduled to play this weekend, Harrison, 23, was in Cleveland when he was wounded.

Harrison was taken to a hospital and deliberate to return to Baltimore on Monday, the crew disclosed.

“I do not suppose it is extreme in any respect. … I am optimistic that he’ll be OK,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said at a news conference. “Very grateful that he is OK and never harm worse.”

CNN has reached out to the Cleveland Division of Police for touch upon the incident.

Harrison is enjoying in his second NFL season after being chosen within the third spherical of the 2020 NFL draft by the Ravens. He has performed in seven video games this season and has recorded 22 tackles.

Whereas in faculty, Harrison led Ohio State in tackles as a junior and senior and completed his Buckeyes profession with 205 whole tackles. Harrison is a Columbus, Ohio, native.
