NFL Week 12 Weather Update: Lack of rain, wind, snow forecast eases imaginary starting decisions


A few weeks ago, snow caused a bit of anxiety and rain caused a few problems last week. We’ve also seen wind be an issue this year. Entering Week 12, there is no snow, almost no rain and only very light winds are forecast. It’s a Thanksgiving miracle. However, we know forecasts are subject to change, so we’ll keep an eye on all the latest developments before you make a decision to start your fantasy. Fortunately, Meteorologist Kevin Roth of RotoGrinders will help us break down the weather updates you need to know.

NFL Week 12 Weather Update

Forecasts are allowed for Kevin Roth at RotoGrinders

Eagle @ Giant. This game has about a 20% chance of getting rain, but with temperatures predicted to be low in the 40s and very light winds, you don’t need to worry about weather conditions affecting squad decisions mine. We will continue to monitor to make sure precipitation does not increase near the start.

WEEK 12 USE DFS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo!

Steelers @ Bengals. Temperatures in the low 40s, very little chance of rain and wind around 10 mph – in other words, as good as you’ll be in for a late November game in Cincinnati. Unless the wind is forecast to be stronger, don’t worry about this game.

WEEK 12 PPR RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

Rams @ Packers. This will likely be the coldest of the week, with temperatures in the low to mid 30s. Winds can also blow up to about 15 mph. However, these conditions are nothing new for NFC North veterans Matthew Stafford or Aaron Rodgers past/current, so if the forecast doesn’t get any better the weather won’t have an impact Choose your squad.
